In the summer of 2019 Laura visited Venice. It was here that she found inspirational material, from the figurative works of Jean Arp and Rodin at the Peggy Guggenheim collection, to the colours of the fishing cottages on Burano. All these informed her first collection of design led ceramics done in collaboration with BlissHome. Working closely with the artisan factory Ceramiche Fabbro she used a hand process combining contemporary reactive glazes with traditional techniques including brush painting, mark making and spongeing to create a collection of limited edition works of art.
